Johnny Depp To Marry
|
Johnny Depp is getting married.
The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor is set to marry his French lover Vanessa Paradis in a small ceremony at their home in the South of France next summer.
A source revealed to Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Johnny and Vanessa are planning to finally get married next summer at their villa. It will be a private event rather than a showbiz extravaganza."
The couple have been together for eight years and have two children, Lily-Rose, seven, and four-year-old Jack. The family split their time between Los Angeles and France.
This is not the first time Johnny has been involved in wedding plans - he was engaged to actress Winona Ryer and Jennifer Grey and briefly married to musician Lori Anne Allison in 1983.
For many years Johnny was reluctant to marry again, insisting: "If you are together and you love each other and are good to each other, for all intents and purposes you are married."
Vanessa, who had a worldwide hit with 'Joe le Taxi' when she was just 14, recently revealed how special their relationship is.
She said: "Johnny is all I dreamed of. No one could love the way we love. He's a beautiful person so obviously he's a beautiful dad."

Lindsay Lohan: I Don't Party Too Hard
|
Lindsay Lohan has hit back at claims she is partying too hard - insisting she and her mum will decide if she needs to calm down.
The 'Mean Girls' star has earned a reputation as one of Hollywood's biggest party girls during her short career. She was even photographed wearing no knickers during a recent night out in London.
Lindsay, 20, has now rubbished claims she is out of control and insists she would slow down if her mother Dina told her to.
She revealed to Britain's More magazine: "It's up to me and my mum to decide if I am partying too much. I'm an angel compared to some of my friends."
In July, Lindsay received a written final warning from James G. Robinson, CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, over her "unprofessional" attitude on the set of new film 'Georgia Rule'.
The letter ordered the flame-haired star to stop her "heavy partying" or face being fired.

It may be a trick or a treat, but former pop star Britney Spears is set to begin her comeback on Halloween, according to a report. The two-time mom has faded from the pop scene and has fallen into that whole young Hollywood 'famous for being famous' trap but reports have stated that she will be back as a performer.
She is reportedly working to get her body back into shape now and will present the package on Halloween reports veteran gossip Janet Charlton on her blog.

Janet Charlton's Hollywood : Britney Spears has managed to make her husband Kevin Federline's dreams come true. She turned an out-of-work dancer into a model, an actor, and a singer, while also getting him red carpet treatment at the hottest clubs. He's been checking out locations for his record release party on Halloween night and it looks like he's pretty much settled on Xenii.
This will be Britney's first big night out since their second baby was born. Kevin seems to like the after hours club Xenii - he was there until 5 AM Sunday morning.
Those brave enough to pre-order K-Fed's CD "Playing With Fire" from his online store automatically are entered into a contest to win a trip to LA to attend the party. Second prize is the sneakers Kevin wore when he performed at the Teen Choice Awards.
How will Britney look? It sounds like the witching hour will deliver the answer.

Jessica Simpson Jumps The Shark?
|
Jessica Simpson is being criticized by some for her film 'Employee of the Month' as the film finished in fourth place for the weekend. Deadline Hollywood Daily's ever reliable Nikki Finke opines that Jessica has 'jumped the shark' with disappointing box opening numbers for her pic Employee of the Month.
But 'Box Office Prophets' disagrees writing:
"Employee of the Month, from those shrewd folks at Lionsgate. Inexplicably, Lionsgate has another hit on their hands, as Employee beat all expectations, earning $11.8 million over its first three days. Released to 2,579 venues, the Dane Cook/Jessica Simpson comedy earned a venue average of $4,575."
John Hamann muses:
"Now I don't know about you, but I couldn't pick Dane Cook out of a police lineup, so I'm going to give the credit here (begrudgingly) to Jessica Simpson. Her outfit helped get the Dukes of Hazard up over a $30 million opening, and I'd say the same thing happened here. The big winner with Employee of the Month, though, is Lionsgate, as the company spent only $12 million making it."
"Employee of the Month will disappear quickly, but like the company's Saw and Madea franchises, it's the opening that matters."
Jessica may not be able to carry a big-budget film, but she indeed can still draw interest towards a movie. She bragged earlier that she was happy not to be in a bikini for the film - but just think of the numbers if she was scantily clad in 'Employee of the Month.'
It may be a bit too soon to claim Jessica's movie career is finished.
