Britney To Be Featured On Q Magazine
|
Music magazine Q is to celebrate its 20th anniversary with 20 different covers for its November issue, each one featuring a different musical icon - who have all given exclusive photoshoots and interviews, talking about their personal highlights and low points over the past 20 years, for the issue on sale September 30.
Paul Rees, editor of the Emap title, said: "The 20th anniversary of Q, the essential music guide, is a landmark moment, and therefore we were determined to mark it with a landmark publishing moment."
Subscribers will receive a specially produced edition featuring all 20 different cover images. At £3.90 a newsstand copy, collectors will be forking out a total of £78 to assemble the complete set of stars, which is: McCartney, David Bowie, Madonna, Noel Gallagher, Pete Townshend, Paul Weller , Damon Albarn, Britney Spears, David Grohl, Dido, David Gilmore, Ian Brown, Richards, Michael Stipe, Jimmy Page, Johnny Borrell, Kate Bush, Beyonce, Richard Ashcroft and U2.

Britney Spears gave birth to second son Sutton Pierce on Sept. 12, just two days before older brother Sean Preston turned one. So the Federline family celebrated their sons' special days at the hospital. Britney "paid for two additional rooms so her relatives could be with her the entire time," a source reveals to OK! Britney made sure there were plenty of games on hand to keep Sean happy, and plans to have a bigger event for the two boys once she gets home.

Kevin's Return To Fashion
|
Kevin Federline, aka K-Fed and Mr. Britney Spears, is more than just a rapper, dancer and famous father.
He's also a fashion model.
Federline has been tapped again to be the face of Five Star Vintage clothing, company spokesman Kenneth Loo said Wednesday.
Federline made his modeling debut with the company over the summer. His latest ads, showcasing the company's holiday line, will begin appearing next month.
The company chose Federline again because of his "renegade style," Loo said.
"He is a maverick, making his own choices when it comes to his music, his fashion and his celebrity," Loo said. "He is constantly in the public eye, which makes him a good spokesman for our line."
The ads show Federline wearing sunglasses, a white tank top and two different jackets from the company's holiday line.

Paris Hilton Wants Lindsay Lohan's Man

While Lindsay Lohan, 20, partied in NYC on Sept. 14 during Fashion Week, her boyfriend, Harry Morton, was at West Hollywood club Hyde — where Paris Hilton was flirting with him and dancing suggestively in front of him, a club spy tells Star Magazine.
Paris, 25, showed up with her entourage about 11:30 p.m. and, almost immediately afterward, Harry, 25, walked in and joined her party. "Since Lindsay and Paris aren't on talking terms, everyone was surprised that Harry would walk straight over to Paris the moment he came in," an eyewitness tells Star People. "Paris flirted with Harry every chance she got. When he talked to someone else, it looked like she would randomly spark up a conversation just to get his attention. And every so often, she'd do a dance right in front of him."
Paris, even mouthed the lyrics, “Baby I’m perfect for you” from her song “Stars are blind” directly to Lindsay’s beau. Paris and Harry were seen leaving the club only minutes apart, with Morton close on Hilton’s heels.
In May, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. The former friends (at least when photographers were around), entered into a cruel game of one-upmanship, with their boy toys mercilessly caught up in the mix.
Lindsay and Paris’s ex, Stavros Niarchos hooked up in May. In the span of three days, Lohan and Niarchos hit NYC club Butter, an Elefant concert and Bungalow 8. People magazine reported at the time that the pair kissed at Butter (owned by Ashley Olsen’s ex, Scott Sartiano; Niarchos is Mary-Kate’s ex).

Kate And Orlando Are Trying To Avoid Each Other

Former lovers Kate Bosworth and Orlando Bloom have been trying desperately to avoid each other, it has been claimed. The pair - who ended their four year on-off relationship two weeks ago -were
due to cross paths at New York Fashion Week.
However, the two stars made sure they were kept apart at all times and
informed of one another's movements at the event.
An insider told the New York Post newspaper: "Their people were speaking
every hour to make sure Orlando and Kate avoided each other at all costs.
They coordinated their schedules."
The break-up came just months after rumors circulated that Orlando was
planning to marry the 'Superman Returns' actress.
Just two months ago the actor was reportedly caught kissing and "dirty
dancing" with 'Romeo and Juliet' actress Claire Danes at a charity ball in
England.
In other news, Orlando Bloom may be ditching the silver screen in order to return to the stage reports Entertainment Weekly
Bloom was planning on becoming a stage actor after graduating from Film school, but instead he won the role of Legolas in Peter Jackson’s ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy and is now a huge film star.
According to BreakingNews he said: "I really want to do some theatre. My career took this marching pace that meant that I was running to the beat of a drum that I wasn't quite sure where the noise was coming from.
"I'm avidly looking for the right sort of material that I can do something with."

Music Review: Christina Aguilera - "Hurt"
|
"Hurt," the second single from Christina Aguilera's already gold album Back to Basics, is one weeper of a ballad. From the slow opening to a soft piano all the way to the spine-tingling bridge, "Hurt" chronicles the pain and regret one can feel after losing someone they love. But what's great about the song is it's so much more than the standard, stock loved-and-lost ballad.
"Seems like it was yesterday when I saw your face/You told me how proud you were, but I walked away/If only I knew what I knew today." I'm already welled up with tears as prolific songwriter Linda Perry and Aguilera have created a song that is both truthful and heartbreaking. It's not just about death, but also about what happened before. "I'm sorry for blaming you/ For everything I just couldn't do/ And I've hurt myself by hurting you," she sings as you hear the heartrending emotion in her voice.
What can you do when you lose someone? And not only do you have to deal with the grief of their death and missing them terribly, but also the haunting guilt you feel for what you've done to them or not forgiving them for what they've done to you. There is no time left - they're gone. And now it's just you and your "hurt."
Linda and Christina really turn up the heat at the bridge where the hard percussion and the disquieting violins rev up Christina's better-than-ever power-belting vocals as she roars "If I had just one more day/ I would tell you how much that I've missed you since you've been away/ Ooh, it's dangerous/ It's so out of line to try and turn back time."
The song doesn't get officially released until October 23, but it's already gaining a ridiculous number of spins on radio - faster even, than Fall competitor Beyonce's "Ring The Alarm," which has actually been out longer. "Hurt" seems to be poised for another top 10 run similar to that of Aguilera's current single "Ain't No Other Man," which, months after its release, is still gaining airplay spins according to Mediabase.
Even Chuck Taylor of Billboard magazine raves "The force of her vocal as she relates the pain of moving past a relationship in ruins is daunting, with a melody and lush production that carries this potential Grammy Award contender into the clouds." Listen to the song. It'll make you cry.

Jolie And Pitt Give More To Charity
|
US movie stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are donating $US1 million ($A1.33 million) each to two humanitarian organisations.
The recipients are Global Action for Children and Medecins sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders).
The money will come from the couple's Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
"In the most troubled parts of the world - places that much of the world has abandoned - MSF is always there," said Jolie in a statement issued by Trevor Neilson, the couple's philanthropic and political adviser. "I have seen these brave men and women working in war zones and horrific conditions and I deeply admire them."
Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the UN High Commission for Refugees.

Britney And Kevin Bring Home Baby Sutton

UsMagazine.com: New parents Britney Spears, 24, and hubby Kevin Federline, 28, brought home son Sutton Pierce (6 pounds 11 ounces) to serious excitement in their families. When contacted by Us, Federline's mom, Julie Bleak, told Us Weekly, "We are all so happy!"
The September 12 birth by C-section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles "went really smoothly, says a source. A family insider says that when the singer checked out at midnight on September 14, she wore a beanie, rode in a wheelchair pushed by Federline and "held the baby in her arms."
Though there were other occasions to celebrate that weekend (son Sean turned 1 on September 14; their two-year wedding anniversary was on the 18th), another source says they were low-key. "They stayed home," the source says. "A lot of bonding went on. Sean and Sutton get along great!"

finally end her feud with BRITNEY SPEARS. The GENIE IN A BOTTLE called her favourite Los Angeles baby boutique, Petit Tresor, to request a $500 (GBP278) gift basket, crammed with goodies for her one-time pop rival. Among the top-line items Aguilera selected for her former MICKEY MOUSE CLUB pal's new baby SUTTON PIERCE were a set of porcelain crockery, a cuddly elephant, a hooded towel, slippers and a nightlight.
The basket was delivered to the Malibu, California home Spears shares with husband KEVIN FEDERLINE and her two baby boys, Sutton Pierce and one-year-old SEAN PRESTON late yesterday (20SEP06). The special delivery came with a card that read, "Congratulations on the new addition to your family," and was signed love Christina and Jordan (Aguilera's new husband JORDAN BRATMAN).
