Paris Hilton Is Scared To Call Nicole Richie After So Long
|
Paris Hilton has revealed that her feud with Nicole Richie has gone on for so long because she doesn’t know how to make the first move towards reconciliation.
She said: “Nicole and I are going through something right now, but I love her. She’s like a sister to me, so hopefully we’ll work something out.”
“I’m scared [to call her]. It’s just weird and hard when you haven’t spoken for so long. I don’t know what would happen. I’m going to wait a while.”
“I’ve known her, like, 20 years and the whole thing is ridiculous.”
The pair have both been invited to appear on The Late Show next month with David Letterman agreeing to help them repair their friendship.

Lindsay Lohan Questioned For Mom's Court Battle
|
Actress Lindsay Lohan will be subject to interrogation for her mom Dina's fraud lawsuit regarding a botched music deal. The suit claims that tens of thousands of dollars were forwarded to Lohan, but the star recorded an album with music mogul Tommy Mottola instead.
Her mother, Dina Lohan is being charged for fraud for signing her daughter to a record deal with producers Antonio Almeida and Mitchell Chait.
Almeida and Chait allege that in 2002 and 2003 they aided teen queen Lindsay do half the tracks of her album "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen."
Lindsay has been subpoenaed to testify in the case, according to documents filed by the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
She is requested to show up at law offices of Costa, Abrams, and Coate LLP in Los Angeles on August 29 for an oral deposition.

Lindsay Lohan Ditches The Booze
|
Lindsay Lohan’s new man is setting the young actress a very good example by encouraging her to stay off the booze for a while.
Restaurant owner Harry Morton has reportedly asked party animal Lohan to cut back on her drinking due to his family history.
According to the New York Daily News, Morton was the half-brother of famous bounty hunter Domino Harvey who died of a drug overdose; he has asked Lohan to cut back on her alcohol intake and Lohan has surprisingly obliged.
Lohan reportedly told her friends that "she will stay away from booze altogether."
An insider added: "[Lindsay’s] not drinking. I've never seen her so healthy and happy."
This must be welcome news to Morgan Creek Productions who last week sent Lohan a letter that branded her a ‘spoiled child’ for disrupting filming with her continuing tardiness.

Lindsay Dumped By Record Label
|
The Sun newspaper has revealed that Lindsay Lohan has been dumped by her record label in the UK, after bosses got sick of her partying ways, and the fact that she couldn't be bothered to promote her first album. Island Records gave the actress and singer the boot this week, and it looks as if ther singing 'career' may be over in Britiain as a result.
Lohan will next be seen on the big screen in a movie about Mark Chapman, the man who shot John Lennon. Hunky Jared Leto plays Chapman in the film, which is called CHAPTER 27

Hilary Duff Denies Virgin Claims
|
When 20-year-old Hilary Duff announced that she was still a virgin in a recent interview with Elle magazine, many people were shocked. Though the actress has a squeaky-clean image, she also dates Joel Madden, the 27-year-old frontman of pop punk band, Good Charlotte. For the most part, people had thought it was safe to assume these two had done the deed.
In her interview, Hilary confessed, "It's harder having a boyfriend who's older because people just assume. But [virginity] is definitely something I like about myself. It doesn't mean I haven't thought about sex, because everyone I know has had it and you want to fit in."
Now the singer/actress is claiming that she never said she was a virgin. Using the Lindsay Lohan defense, Duff says that the writer for Elle took her statement out of context. In an interview with MuchMusic, Hilary said, "The thing is that I didn't say that. I wouldn't say that. I don't know how [the writer] got that out of what I said." Hilary explained that her virginity is "definitely not something that I would talk about or that I would want people to focus on. Or that I even think it's appropriate to talk about. Whose business is that?"

Lance Bass Admits He's Gay
|
'N Sync's Lance Bass has admitted that he is gay, according to People magazine.
"I knew that I was in this popular band and I had four other guys' careers in my hand, and I knew that if I ever acted on it or even said that I was gay, it would overpower everything," Bass said.
"I didn't know: Could that be the end of 'N Sync? So I had that weight on me of like, 'Wow, if I ever let anyone know, it's bad'. So I just never did," he added.
"The thing is, I'm not ashamed - that's the one thing I want to say," Bass said. "I don't think it's wrong, I'm not devastated going through this. I'm more liberated and happy than I've been my whole life. I'm just happy."
'N Sync is currently on indefinite hiatus, while Justin Timberlake is reaping the fruits of his burgeoning solo career.

"Pirates of the Caribbean" star Keira Knightley said that she is an awful girlfriend, due to be being an emotional wreck a lot of the time.
The actress, who is dating her co-star from "Pride and Prejudice" Rupert Friend, admitted that she often bursts into tears even during minor arguments, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
"Anyone who has gone out with me will tell you I have this awful tendency to cry when I get angry. And I can't stop," Knightley told the newspaper.

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly refusing to marry boyfriend Vince Vaughn before Brad Pitt ties the knot with Angelina Jolie.
The 'Break-Up' actress - who started dating her co-star shortly after splitting from Brad last year - is said to be still hoping she and Brad can rekindle their romance.
A source revealed to Britain's Grazia magazine: "Jen can't bring herself to remarry as long as Brad still remains technically single."
Friends of the Jennifer, who recently reportedly revealed the former 'Friends' actress still has feelings for her ex, say the 37-year-old star is hoping for reconciliation, even despite the fact Brad has a two-month old baby daughter, Shiloh Nouvel, with Angelina.
The source added: "If Brad had married Angie, I think Jen would have set her own wedding date by now."

Lindsay Lohan's New Tattoo
|
Lindsay Lohan and lover Harry Morton have got new tattoos.
The 'Mean Girls' actress made a late-night visit to a West Hollywood tattoo parlour and got a small white heart placed between her thumb and index finger after leaving a nightclub last week.
Lohan was accompanied by Morton who reportedly got a cross tattooed in an unspecified place.
This is not the 20-year-old star's first tattoo. She already has the word 'breathe' on her right wrist and a star on her left wrist. The flame-haired actress also has 'La Bella Vita' etchedl- on her lower back - translating as 'the good life' in Italian.
Meanwhile, Lindsay was hospitalised on Wednesday (26.07.06) after collapsing on the set of new movie 'Georgia Rule'.
Some reports suggested she had arrived on set "overheated and dehydrated" after partying with Morton the night before.
Her representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, insisted the hot weather was to blame.
She is quoted by the 'The Insider' website as saying: "She was filming in 105-degree weather for 12 hours."
Lindsay was given a vitamin B shot and released a few hours later.
